Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, MFC# 91042
My goal in therapy is to facilitate healing from where a person is to where they want to go. I strive to support individuals through the process of developing new and healthier ways of dealing with life circumstances.
I do a lot of work with people who struggle with codependency, anxiety and depression. I have also done extensive work with adults abused as children. I work with individuals, couples and teens. I am trained in EMDR as a way of healing from past trauma.
I offer hope to my clients. “Hope makes it possible for us to do the work of healing because hope allows us to see our current struggles as an investment in the future. God can turn the most difficult experiences in our lives into opportunities to bring us new life and new hope”. (from “Rooted in God’s Love.”)
I received my Master’s degree from John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, CA. I did my undergraduate work at Cal State East Bay. I have been involved in various ministries at our local church for over 25 years. I am a member of California Marriage and Family Therapists. I have been married for over 30 years and have three grown sons who I love spending time with.
Fees: $130 per session hour.
